- Lot Description
26 round or wreath shaped French Aviation badges, dating from the 1920's to present, excellent, along with 9 bullion embroidered French wings, 8 excellent, one showing wear, VG; a pair of early French Aviation collar tabs, VG+, removed from uniform; a single collar tab, excellent, 4 Aviation Specialist Observer wings, one Artillery, one Missiles, one Helicopter Artillery, and one Artillery with a gold star above, all excellent; an earlier similar wing, stamped brass, VG+; a World War I era winged propeller in brass, made to be sewn on, VG+; a small Free French Aviation pin in enamel and gilt, excellent. and a silver very high relief eagle badge, excellent.
Note: most of these wings were made by Drago, in Paris, and are so marked.
