- Lot Description
Two French World War I Pilots badges, worn by George W. Hayes in World War I and World War II. Both badges are tarnished but otherwise in excellent condition. Three sterling U.S. pilot's wings worn by George W. Hayes, two pin-back and one clutch-back marked, "Amico Sterling." Dimensions: French badges are 1 3/4 inches tall and 2 1/8 inches wide. The U.S. wings are 3 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches wide. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
A115 badges are excellent, with varying amounts of tarnish. The cotler pins on the French badges are bent. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photography as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
