- Lot Description
Hand tooled music box by Fred Zimbalist in the form of an ornate two horse drawn carriage with driver. Music box enclosed within the top of the carriage. Marked, "11" on underside. Dimensions: 10.5"h x 22.5"l x 8.25"w. Fred Zimbalist (1909-2003) was Russian born and founded the Zimbalist Music Co., in Cleveland, Ohio. He was known for his intricate nickel silver plated music boxes which were hand tooled in India. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $75.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Scattered minor wear, dust and scratches. Light to right of driver may be slightly bent. Presently working.
