- Lot Description
A very nice turn-off barrel pistol in steel, 6 1/2 inches long, by what appears to be Wilbraham of London. Birmingham proofs date it to right about 1800. The turn-off barrel still unscrews for loading. The steel has light pitting on it, but the engraving is deep and nicely done. The name is difficult to read, but the "London" is quite clear. The lock function is crisp.
