Antique French Model 1763 brass mounted flintlock pistol, as used in the American Revolution. The pistol has no visible markings, but the brass mounts suggest it was made between 1763 and 1776. It is 16 inches long overall. There is a crack through the grip and the brass side plate is missing. The lock functions very well and the steel of the lock and barrel are in very good condition, although there is a frosting of rust on the barrel and minor patch of pitting. The pistol retains its 1776 pattern iron ramrod. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Shipping is only in continental U.S. and information regarding shipping price is provided within the description of each lot. For international and larger items that we cannot ship in house, please take a look at our shipping contacts.
