- Lot Description
Exquisite Aesthetic mantel clock, English ebonized wood case accented by polychrome japanesque tiles (probably Minton) and rounded metal finials. Round clock face with Roman numerals marked, "N. Matson & Co / Chicago". Pendulum lever marked, "E. Lourdelet" (Ernest Lourdelet, Paris). Matson & Co was a luxury retail jeweler and retailer. Circa 1875-1880. 18.5"w x 6.5"d x 17"h. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $90.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Condition
