Hand carved and hand painted by artist, Wilburt Talashoma Sr., this Kachina is decorated with real human hair, striped feathers, yarn, seashell and corn husk flower on forehead. Artist signature on underside of base. The Huhuwa is the spirit of a man from Second Mesa who had a crippling disease leaving him to hobble while he walks. He humorously entertains the ceremony participants, and his doll is known as a gift giving Kachina as his goal is to delight all who see him.Ì_
