- Lot Description
A Colt model 1849 pocket revolver in .31 caliber. Serial number 239884, manufactured in 1864. Barrel is 4 inches long, in about excellent condition. Dimensions: 9.75"l overall. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
About excellent, with sharp corners and a tight action. Cylinder scene is visible. There is a minor dent to one corner of the octagonal barrel and a couple of minor nicks to another corner and several on the butt but the gun is overall clean and smooth. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
