- Lot Description
Polychrome glazed ceramic bowl with figural portrait bust in center. Figure is wearing a hat with a plume. Signed verso, "P. Vandenberge 1982". Dimensions: 3.25"h x 16.5" diameter. Peter Vanden Berge was born in The Hague but moved to California in the 1950s. He studied at California State University at Sacramento and received his M.A. from UC Davis. He taught in both San Francisco and Sacramento. His work is inspired by Modigliani. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $70.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
