This is a typed letter signed by Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, our U.S. World War I top-scoring fighter ace and Medal of Honor winner, to Lieut. George W. Hayes, written on March 18,1925 in regards to the formation of the U.S. Air Force Association and commeding General "Billy" Mitchell, who was at that moment being court-martailed for his zealous support for military air power. The letter urges speaking to congressmen to support Air Power and to commend Mitchell. Dimensions: 4.125 inches tall by 9.25 inches long.
