- Lot Description
A rare lot of paper material and photographs, all from California, including original snapshots of Amelia Earhart in Sacramento in June of 1931. Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis in Sacramento in 1927. Clipped headlines and articles from the Sacramento Bee of the Lindbergh's. An extremely rare incitation to the opening of the Carquinez Bridge from May 21, 1927, and sheet music for "Out in California" from 1921, cover redwoods, poppies etc. Dimensions: 12.5"h x 9.25"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Photos are very good, with hand-written captions. Newspaper clippings are yellowed. Invitation is very good with minor stains to cover. Sheet music is very good, with one bent corner. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
