A very rare Japanese bronze sculpture of an infantry man, firing prone, wearing his cloth field cap with his steel helmet on his back. The sculpture is hollow cast and has a foundry mark on the right side, as well as an old particle paper label that reads, "Tada." The sculpture is slightly stylized, but has very good detail of the soldier's equipment. 23 1/2 inches long and 7 1/4 inches tall. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement insurance cost.
