- Lot Description
Frame 1 is primarily British and Canadian, including a medal group of 4 to 4169564 LAC J.R. Onions, R.A.F., consisting of a General Service Medal Queen Elizabeth II, with bar, "Malaya," a 1939-45 Star, an original Air Crew Europe Star, and a France and Germany Star. The stars are unnamed but associated. There is also a Canadian Medal bar, with 1939-45 Star, an Atlantis Star, a silver Defence Medal, a silver Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Overseas Bar, and a silver War Medal, all mounted on a bar; a single UN peacekeeper's medal, that may be associated with LAC Onion's medals; a silver Australian "Welcome Home" medal; a large cloth copy of the British 1942 Eagle Squadron badge; a bullion embroidered King's crown RAF peaked cap badge,; a bullion embroidered RAF Group Captain or higher rank peaked cap badge; an early RNAS peaked cap badge; a Scully fale embroidered small RCAF officer's badge, a Scully false embroidered Petty Officer's peaked cap badge; and a Queen's crown Royal Navy officer's peaked cap badge.
Frame 2 contains 4 French Orders and medals, and 2 Belgian Orders: A Legion of Honour, 5th class, very good with minor enamel damage; a Medaille Militaire, excellent, another Medaille Militaire, very good but tarnished; a French 1914-1918 Croix de Guerre, with bronze star, excellent; A Belgian Order of the Crown, with enamel damage and the reverse central disc replaced with black enamel, good; and a Belgian Order of Leopold, in silver, with silver wreath on the ribbon, tarnished but excellent.

Condition
