Hand carved and hand painted on cottonwood root. Detailed with feathers, yarn, fabrics. leather garter and seashells. Original cotton hanging thread. Original price tag included which labels it as a Crossleg Clown Drummer, $425. It has been determined that this is a Bluebird Snare Kachina because of its white face with red upturned "V", as well as His checkered skirt and white stripes on his chest. Artist signature and title on underside of base. The artist called it a No-oah Entertainment Clown-the Hopi name for which, was unable to be found.Ì_
