Framed "Birds Eye View of San Francisco / 1854". Published Henry Bill New York. Map view of San Francisco as seen from Nob Hill looking down. The most important buildings and landmarks are identified. This view is very soon after the Gold Rush of 1849. There are seven different printings of this view (1850, 1851, 1852, 1854, 1855, 1856, 1857). Henry Bill was a Connecticut based publisher. Dimensions: (sight) 9.25"h x 16.5"w; (framed) 14.75"h x 22"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Creasing (horizontal and vertical) and toning. Did not examine out of frame.
