- Lot Description
Steel, chromed guard and scabbard. Black leather-bound grip with three strands of wire wrap. Guard is beautifully pierced, with engraved details to vining patter. The black is completely plain, pipe-backed, with a slightly broader double-edged point. The chromed finish to the blade shows minor wear from being drawn and sheathed. Dimensions: 37.5" long overall, blade is 30.5" long. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $55.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
The sword itself is overall about excellent, with minor wear to the chrome finish. The scabbard is missing most of the chrome, retaining about 20%, but has not dent. There is a patch of rust on the scabbard, about 10" above the drag. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
