Exceptionally rare Australian Flying Corps wings, one in bullion embroidery, the other in wool, both showing minor wear around the edges, including some backing losses when removed from uniforms. The bullion wings are tarnished almost black, but the red inserts in the King's crown are bright red. The second pair are a little moth eaten on the edges. There are 20 pair of Royal Australian Air Force wings, including two in metal, and 5 in bullion embroidery. One of the metal wings has a Queen's crown, as do two of the bullion wings. Of the cloth wings with cloth embroidery, two are Queen's crown, and ll of the rest are King's crown. There is also a pair of white metal King's crown Royal New Zealand Air Force wings with a backing plate, and 3 pair of Army wings , two in bullion embroidery, a pair of Fleet Air Arm wings, Queen's crown, in bullion embroidery,a King's crown officer's peaked cap badge, and two patches with wings for Australian Army flight branches.
