Two items of Chippewa beadwork comprising a sash and a beaded fringe square (similar to the front of a bag). Dimensions: (including fringe) 13.5" x 8.5" and 46" x 3". Also included is a handwritten card stating that the beadwork was made by the Chippewa Indians in Northern Minnesota and obtained in 1868. Also a card photograph from Whitney's Gallery St. Paul depicting Po-Go-Nay-Shick and notated verso that he was a friend of James Bean. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
