- Lot Description
Framed Anton Otto Fischer (1882-1962) oil on canvas genre painting. Artist's monogram and date, ('29) lower right. Written on canvas verso, "6 1/2" vignette / one color only". This painting exemplifies Fischer's talent as an illustrator. Dimensions: 20"h x 24"w (canvas); 28.75"h x 32.75"w (framed). Provenance: Shirley Jennings directly from Howard Pease. This painting was used as an illustration in his book. Mrs. Jennings wrote her dissertation on writers which included Pease. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $105.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
