- Lot Description
Probably from a C-141, with a snarling wolf's head and the ribbon for the U.S. Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 3 oak leaf clusters. The panel is gray on the front, olive green on the reverse with a small lucite viewing hole. This was removed from the aircraft flown by the owner of this collection, on his retirement in 2011. Dimensions: 22"h x 22"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
Excellent condition. One corner is bent. The paint is very good on the outside surface. One bolt is missing, all others in place. Inside shows some wear, with minor corrosion on cross frames. Some paint flaking at edges. Witherell's strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
