A group of nine U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S.A.F. Observer and Combat Aircrew wings, six of them in sterling, all full sized.
a) Command Aircrew wing, clutchback, sterling, with conjoined GP mark, heavy, nicely detailed, excellent.
b) Senior Aircrew wing, clutchback, sterling, N.S.Meyer Inc., New York, excellent.
c) Senior Aircrew wing, pinback, N.S. Meyer, New York, excellent.
d) Aircrew wings, pinback, by L.G.B., sterling, pin only opens to about 80 degrees, superb quality, excellent.
e) Aircrew wings, pinback, by L.G.B., sterling, pin only opens to 90 degrees, VG+.
f) Aircrew wings, pinback, made by attaching a round eagle shield to an Observer's wing, unmarked, VG+.
g) Observer's wings, pinback, sterling, excellent.
h) Observer's wings with separated gilt "S" for Service, British made, with lugs similar to British cap badges, unmarked with casting flash between shield and left side wing. Interesting. VG+.
i) Observer's wing, sterling, pinback missing pin, shield has had something soldered to it that is now missing. Solder residue on shield. Good.
