- Lot Description
Frame 1 is all British Royal Naval Air Service and Fleet Air Arm, including 12 wings or flying badges, all but two in bullion embroidery. The other two are cloth enlisted Pilot's wings of the Fleet Air Arm, both of which are King's crown. The rest of the wings are all Queen's crown. There is also a very fine and early officer's peaked cap badge in bullion embroidery, with a King's crown, possibly dating from World War I.
Frame 2 contains 10 wings and an officer's peaked cap badge of the RAF, RAF Transport Command, and RAF Ferry Command. There are also 2 gilded metal sleeve or collar badges of crowned eagles (King's crown) facing in opposite directions, and a cloth wing patch with the letters "CAC" on it.
Frame 3 contains a very rare pair of Royal Canadian Flying Corps wings in very tarnished bullion embroidery, 4 RAF wings, a Fleet Air Arm wing, a beautiful silver and enamel RCAF wing, an RAF enamel and silver tie bar, an Australian RAAF enamel and silver tie bar, 5 wool RAF Patches, another RAF sweetheart pin, a Canadian Air Cadets badge, and an Australian Air Training Corps badge.
Frame 4 contains a small number of RAF and British Regimental sweetheart pins, and a number of pieces from other sweetheart pins.

Conditions as described. Frames 1,2, and 3 are all very good to excellent. Frame 4 contains some pieces that are separated from larger pins or badges.
