- Lot Description
A variety of Canadian, South African, and British Air Force and Army Air Corps wings and half-wings in two frames, totaling 106 items, many of them dating from World War II.
Frame 1 contains mainly Canadian wings and insignia, including12 full wings (all Queen's crown)14 half-wings,(some of which are King's crown or date from World War II) 30 flying badges, as well as a Canadian Navy Submarines dolphin badge. 2 wings have glue from tags on them, but otherwise all items are excellent.
Frame 2 contains 25 British RAF half-wings, mostly dating from World War II, and 19 Royal Canadian Air Force half-wings, also dating from World War II or having the King's crown. Some are slightly faded, but all are about excellent.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $ 48.00 plus 1.5% replacement and insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
All items are excellent, or nearly so, with the exception of two modern Canadian wings that have glue stains from adhesive tags on them. Witherells strives to provide as much information and photographs as possible but encourages in-person inspection by bidders.
