Smith thirty one hundred dollars for the purchase of the following Negros....", 3) "Received Florence 31 January 1846 of Henry D. Smith one thousand and fifty two dogs and fifty cents...for the sale of certain Negros", and 4) "January 5th 1846 Rec'd of Henry D.
