- Lot Description
Framed 1831 schoolgirl sampler by Sarah Ellender, age 11. "Lord make me know thy truth/ Thy grace to me impart / Be thou the guardian of my youth / And dwell within my heart" stitched in center encircled by birds, flowers, a house with trees at the base and a ring of flowers at the edges. Dimensions: (sight) 21"h x 15.74"w; (framed) 24"h x 18.75"w. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $50.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Please note we do not accept credit cards.
Glass cracked at left lower corner. Linen is toned and few minor discolorations. Stitching appears intact. Did not examine out of frame.
