- Lot Description
A vintage 3-piece Silverplate Tea/Coffee Serving Urn Set, Victorian style, consisting of one large server and two smaller servers.
- Large Victorian Silver-Plated Tea/Coffee Urn on Stand with a Steam Release and Bone Handles: A large silver-plated tea/coffee urn on stand in the Victorian style. The urn features a bulbous body with a ribbed pattern, a curved spout, and a bone handle. The removable lid is topped with a ball finial with a steam release mechanism that can be extended or retracted. The urn rests on a square pedestal base with a scalloped edge. The back of the base has two circular spots intended for electrical wiring. likely designed to accommodate an electric heating element (not included). Dimensions: Approximately 20 inches tall (including lid and finial) and 12 inches wide at the handles, The urn body measures approximately 7 inches in diameter at the top, tapering downward. Could not locate maker's marks, but "1616-9 R" is inscribed on the bottom of the Urn and is likely the pattern.
- Pair of Silver-Plated Tea or Coffee Servers with Bone Handles: A pair of vintage silver-plated tea or coffee servers in the Victorian style. Each server features a tapered body, a spigot with a bone handle, and a removable lid topped with a ball finial. The servers are decorated with a ribbed pattern and have a scalloped edge. Dimensions: Approximately 8 1/2" H (including lid and finial) x approximately 10" W (including spout and handles). The Urn body measures approximately 5 1/4" at the top and tapers downward.
Condition
Good vintage condition. All pieces show moderate signs of wear and tarnish commensurate with age and use, including some silverplate loss on high-touch areas. Interiors of all urns and included metal filters are cleaned. Bone handles and finials are secure and functional. See the photos.

Each lot description states if the lot is for local pickup or buyer-arranged shipping only. All items for this auction are located in Knoxville, TN. We provide names of carriers and shippers in advance, so if you plan to bid on items that may be expensive or complicated to ship, we highly recommend that you get shipping estimates prior to bidding from one or more local shippers (we provide a few during the bidding process or on request). You are not required to use any shippers we provide, but we do require you to make all shipping arrangements with the shipper and arrange for them to pickup the items during the pickup time periods provided on the invoice(s) in the lot descriptions. You agree to complete the purchase of any items you bid on even if shipping costs exceed your expectations. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay for all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. WAC will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items. Items must be paid for in full before they will be released to be shipped. Any shipping estimates given are only estimates and cannot be construed as the final shipping cost. Purchased items not picked up or shipped within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $10.00 per day. If the purchaser fails to have their item(s) removed from WAC storage 30 days after the auction, WAC reserves the right to take possession of the item(s) and dispose of them at their discretion to recoup storage costs.

Payment must be received no later than five (5) days after the sale.
If paying with a credit card, a 3% credit card processing fee will be applied to the final sales price (i.e. hammer price + buyer's premium + applicable taxes). If you have a credit card on file, any winning bids will be automatically charged (up to $3000) along with applicable fees 72 hours after you receive your invoice unless other arrangements have been made.
