This Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. (H&R) M1 Garand, manufactured in January 1955, is a post-Korean War production model that reflects the quality and precision of one of the lesser-known M1 Garand manufacturers. H&R was one of only four companies contracted by the U.S. government to produce M1 Garands, making their rifles less common than Springfield Armory examples.
This rifle features a 3.5 muzzle barrel that will need replacement, but it retains its original Cold War-era production components. Many rifles of this period saw service in post-Korean War garrisons, early Vietnam War advisory operations, and NATO training programs. A great candidate for restoration or as a functional historic rifle.
All firearms listed in this auction are the property of Collectors Crossroads and will be sold exclusively through that entity. As a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder in the state of Texas, Collectors Crossroads will handle all necessary FFL processing, fees, background checks, and legal transfers.
Upon purchase, buyers must comply with all federal, state, and local firearm laws. All firearm transfers will be conducted through Collectors Crossroads’ licensed FFL location or shipped to a verified FFL dealer of the buyer’s choice (for a fee) where applicable. Buyers are responsible for ensuring they meet all legal requirements to complete the transfer.
