- Lot Description
An original German WWII Army (Heer) EM/NCO Officer's Cap Wreath & Cockade, a key component of the traditional Wehrmacht uniform. This insignia was worn on enlisted men's (EM) and non-commissioned officers' (NCO) visor caps, signifying their rank and branch of service within the German military.
The insignia features an intricately detailed silvered wreath, surrounding a raised national cockade in the center. These wreaths were mounted on the front of the soldier’s visor cap, symbolizing their affiliation with the Heer (German Army). The piece retains both original attachment prongs, making it ready for display or reattachment.
Preserved in very good condition, this cap wreath retains its original finish with minimal signs of wear. A great collectible for WWII German headgear enthusiasts, military historians, or re-enactors looking for a historically accurate cap insignia.
