- Lot Description
Imperial Army Officer's Shin Gunto Katana Sword with painted metal scabbard having bronze fittings, grip with lotus blossom menuki. Blade is hand forged, has 25" cutting edge, in old polish, 38" overall. One area of surface discoloration to the blade, a few nicks to the scabbard paint, otherwise good condition.
