- Lot Description
"Keying Up - The Court Jester", etching and drypoint, chine colle, signed in plate, printed by the artist's hand, prior to the addition of the printed title at the base of the image, a fine strong impression, housed in a black stick frame, matted and glazed, OS: 13 3/4" x 11 1/4", SS: 6" x 3 3/4". Lightly toned, not examined out of frame. From the artist's award winning painting of the same name exhibited at the 1876 Centennial Exhibiton in Philadelphia.
