- Lot Description
Baroque Style Four-Part Walnut Bureau Bookcase, late 18th c., possibly Dutch, with ebonized trim and brass mounts, top section with arch shaped overhanging cornice, second section with double glazed door cabinet with glass side panels, next section containing slant lid desk with pull out lid supports, desk interior centered with three cubbies above drawer base, flanked by two sections of three short drawers, below are two short drawers over two long drawers, heavy brass drop bail pulls and brass lock escutcheons (with key), two-piece base section with barrel form front feet, 95" high, 39" x 21 1/4". Provenance: From the Estate of Rosemarie Wolfe, Cape Elizabeth ME and Palm Beach FL.
