Aesthetic Period British Portrait of an Impish Young Woman with Dimpled Cheek, seated, with fingers interlaced, her hair pulled back in bottle curls, her white parlor gown with ruffled collar and unusual fringed bell sleeves, a garnet and gold choker at her neck; oil on canvas, unsigned, with canvas stencil by Charles Roberson of London, housed in the original ornate gilt gesso frame, OS: 38" x 31", SS: 29 1/2" x 32 1/2". Cleaned, fine craquelure.
