Late 19th c. Qing Low Octagonal Table in black lacquer, with overall mother-of-pearl inlay, the top having a central image of a woman and child riding in a rickshaw past mansions, surrounded by a band of twelve standing figures among clouds, having a realistic bamboo leaf and blossom border, geometric inlaid square edge, resting on a four-legged folding base (although the top is now attached), with square profile above the stretchers, ball and vase turned legs below. 23 1/2" x 25" x 25". Minor losses to lacquer on edges of top.
