- Lot Description
Early Hepplewhite Sideboard Knife Boxes in blocked serpentine form with slanted hinged covers having oval floral patera inlay, the fronts with satinwood columnar inlay, retaining the original silver mounts. The interiors showing star and line inlay, fully fitted cases. Original surface and finish. Fourth quarter 18th c., 13 3/4" x 9" x 9". Lids are slightly cocked, otherwise very good condition.
