- Lot Description
Arts & Crafts Period Art Pottery Tall Neck Vase by the Valentien Pottery Company, San Diego, CA, 1911-13, bulbous paneled shape with mottled pale matte green glaze, impressed mark on base 'VP' and California poppies in a vertical rectangular cartouche, also marked 'Z13', Valentien founders Albert and Anna Valentien worked as decorators in the Rookwood factory -- he, between 1887 and 1905, and she, from 1884 to 1905, 9" high, 3 1/2" diam. Glaze bubbles to one panel and under the base.
