- Lot Description
British Made Brass Bound Mahogany Campaign Chest, ca. 1870, having a drop front desk center top with gilt black leather writing surface and fitted interior having drawers guarded by a lift-out panel. The desk front faux drawer is flanked by two smaller functioning drawers, with single deep full width drawer below, the lower cabinet holds two full width drawers, each beaded edge drawer has flush-mounted brass drop bale pulls. Large brass drop bails on sides. Marked Chubb locks, no keys. 38" x 39" x 18 3/4". Good condition, two side bails missing.
