Hand Hammered Alpaca Silver Lidded Tureen, unmarked but probably Peruvian or Bolivian, (alpaca silver is an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc or iron), with scroll form side handles, having repousse paneling and foliate decoration, bud form lid finial, with engraved monogram 'ZJ' to lid, 8 1/2" high, 13" x 9"; 52.85 ozt. Body and lid edge dents.
