Mid-19th c. walnut cased gimbal mounted stick barometer, marked C. (Charles) Taber & Co., New Bedford, MA, with ivory adjustment knob, thermometer attached to wood frame, brass cistern and brass gimbal mount, 36 1/4" high, 2 1/2" x 2 1/4". Small wood chip top left side. NOTE: TPAG cannot ship this item inhouse. This item must be shipped by a 3rd party shipper due to presence of mercury.
