- Lot Description
19th c. Double Serpentine Front Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy, on wooden bun feet, with silver escutcheon (no key) and lid cartouche, velvet lined lid, two inner compartments with tortoiseshell veneered lids and mother-of-pearl handles, traces of old lead lining inside compartments, 5 1/8" high, 7 1/2" x 4 3/4". One crack to skirt on left side, feet reglued, one foot replaced.
