- Lot Description
Late 18th to early 19th c. Sailor's Six-Plank Chest in the original red paint, with two painted wreaths on the hinged lid, retaining the original rope becket handles, slanted front and back with exposed dovetail corners, having a lock with simple brass batwing escutcheon, painted interior, with the original till. 15" x 15 1/2" x 33 1/2". Shrinkage crack to lid and base plate.
