- Lot Description
Painted Cast Iron Mechanical Bank from J & E Stevens, Cromwell, CT, patented 1875. It is called the "Chief Big Moon ', the harder to find version with red-orange base. Place coin in slot in front of pond, press the lever, and as the coin disappears the frog springs from the water to grab the fish that the Indian Squaw is holding up. 9 1/4" tall, 10" long. Very good condition, about 95% paint.
