A mid-20th c. Circular Tibetan Gau or Prayer Box, handcrafted silver, featuring the eight auspicious signs, housing a small deity image and used as a portable shrine or protective talisman. Retaining the original gold brocade cloth cover and strap. 3 1/2" diam. x 1 1/4". Good condition.
