Fancy and Delicate Victorian Cabinet in wood and black lacquered papier mache, with an overall decoration of mother-of-pearl blossoms and gilt vinework, set loose on the stand to allow for rotation, having a complex serpentine sided profile, Bernini twist columns in corners, the conforming domed hinged lid opens to reveal a complex silk lined interior with lids. Lifting the lid releases the two front doors of the cabinet, which have lovely floral paintings on the interior, covering six shallow fitted drawers with MOP pulls, the bottom of the cabinet having conforming molding. The cabinet is set loose on a brass lazy susan, which is supporteed by a pediment formed of four vasifom square members that translate into the arched leg base, ending in brass casters. 41" x 12 1/2" x 16 1/2". Fine condition.
