Dyn. 25-31, Egypt, 3rd Intermediate Period, 740 BC–332 BC, Upper Egypt, Thebes. Restrung Burial Covering in alternating blue faience long and disc beads, having a large winged scarab beetle and four smaller Sons of Horus figures, also in blue faience. Old paper string tag reads "Collected by A.W.E. in Egypt, 1888, when on an around the world tour" (with Grandfather Arioch Wentworth, according to later typed note.) Roughly 8" x 28". Good condition.
