A listing of supplies received by "Benajah Bowers a Corp in the Continental Service, Col. Wyllys's Regt., State of Connecticut" between the dates of Sept. 15th 1777 and April 28, 1778. From 1777-1781, Colonel Samuel Wyllys commanded the 3rd Connecticut Regiment in the Connecticut Line, serving under General Samuel Holden Parsons. His regiment served in the New York area throughout the remainder of the war. Amongst the items listed are mutton, beef, pork, flour, wheat, Indian corn, oak wood, butter, sugar, etc. 12 1/4" x 8 1/2", laid paper, writing on both sides, written in ink. Very legible and in very good condition.
