Faden, Geographer to the King, and to HRH Prince of Wales, Charing Cross, April 12th, 1797". 21 1/2" x 23 3/4" unfolded, linen backed wove paper, hand colored, 3 x 4 fold, in the original cardboard sleeve folio having marbled paper covering, engraved label reads "America sold by W. Faden, Successor to the late Mr. Jeffreys, Charing Cross", inscribed "Gordon, 1797", also inked "Gordon" on back of map. 6" x 7 1/2" folio. Very good condition.
