Pair of Late 18th - Early 19th c. Brass Lemon Top Andirons, by Richard Whittingham I (1747-1821) or Richard Whittingham II (born 1776), both of New York City, with lemon shaped finials over faceted ball turned shafts with square plinth below, set on arch spurred legs with ball feet, stamped on backside of plinths "R. Wittingham N. York), 20 1/2" high, 10" x 18" deep. Surface wear.
