- Lot Description
"Girl's Head", mixed media (pastel and gouache) on textured paper with applied head on less textured paper, inscribed and signed lower right "To Martha Hamlen, Pietro Annigoni, Firenze, LXVI", titled on typed label verso, inscribed by the artist with his Florence address, and what is assumed to be the buyer's address "Mr. Chauncey Stillman, 320 Fifth Avenue, New York, USA". Also with label from Upper Grosvenor Galleries, 19 Upper Grosvenor Street, London (also inscribed with Stillman's name). Housed in the original gold molded frame, linen mat, glazed, OS: 32 1/2" x 25 1/2", SS: 20 1/2" x 13 1/2". Good condition.
