Whitecaps on Sharp Cliffs, oil on canvas, signed lower left and dated 1886, in a deep cove gold gesso frame, OS: 28" c 44 1/2", SS: 18" x 34 1/2". Painting is good, loss to frame gesso. Provenance: From the estate of Hugo & Nathalie Weisgall, Rockport, Maine.
