Pair of Late 19th-Early 20th c. Meissen Porcelain Figurines, depicting male and female gardeners, the man with a watering can and shovel, the woman with a scythe and basket of flowers, after designs by Michel Victor Acier (1736-1799), with blue crossed swords mark on bases, woman incised 'G 107' and impressed '68', and man incised 'G 108' and impressed '40' on the base, woman: 13 3/4" high, 6" x 6", man: 13 3/4" high, 4 1/2" x 4 1/4". With minor professional restoration.
